Light animation.
Last lesson we did light animation during the lesson we used a canon D500
we then turned off the lights and proceeded to taking the pictures, we used
torches and coloured filters and we pointed them towards the canon and we made different shapes.
Our final idea was to create an animation of the game pong, as seen above.
The camera was put in a setting called bulb where the camera leaves the shutter open and takes in all light detected.
How we made it: We got two people to stand 3 meters away from each other while one person drifted towards either person. Another person then wrote the score of the game as another person took the pictures. we moved the torches in certain motions to create the images. All of this was done using communication to keep the torches in the right position.
I then gathered the pictures and imported them onto final cut, i then shortened the duration to 00:00:00:04.

Avatar: Motion Capture Mirrors Emotions
This is performance capture at its most advanced, using performance capture
gave them a good way to get accurate real facial expressions, using this technique changes the outcome of the film.
Facial motion capture
Facial motion capture is taking the movement of someones face and converting this into a database with a camera or laser scanners. This database is then used to produce CG (computer graphics) computer animations, movies or games in this case, real time avatars. Motion capture is related to performance capture but is far more challenging and require more attention because of the requirement for higher resolution.
• also heard are 'virtual theater', 'digital puppetry', and 'real-time animation'
• Additionally, the devil's rotoscope' seems to be a favorite term among traditional animation people
• The term 'motion capture', can also be abbreviated as 'mocap'
The term 'motion capture', can also be abbreviated as 'mocap' another term is 'performance capture'.

FIFA 12 - Gameplay Trailer
Games such as FIFA allow gamers to simulate a real football game from the comfort of their own home.
FIFA is a series of football video games that is released annually by EA Electronic Arts.
The people are dressed in a spandex like suit, using ''Marks'' that are placed on the person they pin point the persons position by shining light on the reflective tape and this light is picked up by the 180 cameras, also the actions are placed back to the people in real time. This video shows how much accuracy and equipment is needed to make a FIFA game.
Zumba Wii - Trailer
What i like about this video.
The ability to free your hands with the pouch, being able to use your body without having to
rely on holding the controller while you play. This Wii remote or Wiimote is the primary controller for the Wii console. The best feature of the Wiimote is the motion sensing this allows the player to manipulate object on the screen using hand gesture recognition and pointing through the use of accelerometer and optical sensor technology.
KINECT XBOX

This game uses the connect a motion sensing device this device allows users to play the game without using any controller at all this is possible through a natural user interface using gestures and spoken commands.
The instructions are easy you stand in the same position as you would if you were golfing
and swing.. incredibly simple freeing up your hands the kinect rivals the Wiimote as it doesn't rely
on a controller to get a response from the console.
I like the picture because it shows the simplicity of the kinect very well, and also illustrates how easy it is to play the games using kinnect.

I like this video and picture because the games lets you interact with a pet, the game creates the real image of an animal, from the way the animal moves to the way the animal jumps. The children spend time playing, feeding and intreating with their animal.
The video below shows how data can be taken from the movements of the human face and then using that to create the movement of an animal face.

Exposure
In terms of photography exposure in the total amount of light that is aloud to fall on the image Sensor while taking a picture. Exposure is measured in seconds ranging from f1.2 or f22 the higher the number the less exposed and the darker the image will be.

HALLOWEEN
Last week we used make up to create a horror picture, in the lesson we used blood which was actually a mixture of chocolate sauce and red dye. We also went to the photography room and some of us had to pose so the other person could take the picture, instructing the subject and motivating them to pose in a certain way. Posing or taking a picture in a certain way total transforms the final image the examples above show that
standing or looking in a certain way changes the impact of that image.
Green is often seen as a creepy colour so along with the Bowens lighting we used green colour gel and placed the light at a low angle facing up to create that creepy classic effect.
Another example of a low budget poster.
This poster is similar to my final one although mine lacks visibility this is something i could change if i had more time. Also the writing ( tittle ) on my poster is not clear in many other way it does work the blood doesn't look fake and the subject is in a position which works well with the poster.
Portrait pictures
We used the canon 5D and the Bowens grid defuser to effect the outcome portrait pictures, using different amounts of lighting and using different angles really changed the picture. In the session experimenting with different ways of taking a portrait picture, placing the picture as and angle helps give the picture a professional effect. Also we used lights to back light the subject, this was to reduce the shadow creating a less harsh effect.
In the lesson we also learned to position the lights at certain distances as this greatly effects the outcome of the image. As you can see from the examples above, we experimented with distance and different angles of lighting. The last picture on the list shows back lighting and placing the light towards one side makes the picture professional and creates a stronger image. Along with the he grid defuser we used timers to make sure the light flashed at the right time. Also during the lesson we used cheap blinds to create the white background behind the subject.

November First-
In the last lesson, we focused on taking portrait pictures outside, using different
lighting techniques to effect the pictures. We ventured out and found a place with nice scenery
and we took pictures, altering the pictures with reflective material.
The equipment we used was, Reflective material, a battery pack and lighting
with a censor which told the lights to flash when we took the pictures.
We also took pictures facing the Sun and we found
a place sheltered by a trees shadow and took pictures. We also used the reflective material
to warm up the image and putting light on the subjects face or body.
